Delphine McClelland

Delphine McClelland is a paranormal romance author whose imagination was sparked early by fairy tales and a lifelong love of books. Born in Statesville, North Carolina, Delphine spent her childhood getting lost in stories that transported her on adventures far beyond her room.

Her passion for discovery didn’t stop at books. Delphine pursued her curiosity about the human body and history, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During her time there, she volunteered at the Forensic Anthropology Center, helping process human remains — a unique experience that deepened her understanding of life, death, and the stories we leave behind.

Life eventually led her back to storytelling. After experiencing personal loss and career challenges, Delphine rediscovered reading as a form of escape and healing. Encouraged to create her own adventures instead of just living in others’, she wrote her first adult paranormal romance novel, Dark Obsessions — a labor of love inspired by perseverance, imagination, and support from those closest to her.

When she’s not writing, Delphine enjoys spending time with family, coloring, watching movies, reading, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturdays and the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays. She also attends Throne of Grace Ministries.
